Amazon Launches Super Cheap Kindle Priced At $79
Here’s some good news for the people who have been holding out on getting the Kindle: Amazon is now offering a mini-version of the Kindle for only $79.
This cheap version of the Kindle was announced alongside the launch of the Kindle Fire tablet and the new touchscreen Kindle. Anyway, back to the $79 Kindle. It has the same screen size as the regular Kindle, but it won’t have a keyboard (hence, the smaller size.) It has Wi-Fi and Amazon Whispernet built into it and enables faster page turns while you’re reading your e-Books. It’s also extra thin and super light too, making it easy to carry around with you.
However, with the cheap price comes on catch: ads. If you don’t want advertisements to be displayed on your unit, then you can shell out $40 more to get rid of them. Check out the Amazon’s Kindle on their official product page.
