Slap These Smile Band-Aids On With A Wince And A Smile

I was a very clumsy kid back in the day. I used to come home after school with scratched arms and scruffed knees from horsing around with my friends. My mother would admonish me and motion me over and slap on some band-aids on the suckers. And let me tell you, band-aids have definitely come a long way since then.

Where they used to be plain and came in nude colors, there are now a bunch of band-aids of all shades, colors, and sizes. And now, they’re about to come with a huge, bloody-looking grin.

This here is the Smile Band-Aid, a concept design by Da Wei Xing. It might not look like much to use adults, but it might make a world of difference to kids, who want to see their blood fill in the pattern to an emoticon rather than some random, misshapen blot of blood.
